YFS Charteris Gold & Precious Metals Fund

Gold is a foundation asset within any long-term savings or investment portfolio. This is a UCITS fund which seeks to provide capital growth through a diversified portfolio of between 20-50 blue-chip companies whose core business is involved in the mining, refining and production of gold and precious metals. The fund achieved the rank of the best performing fund in the UK across all sectors in 2016, when it went up 133.95% and regained the top spot in 2019 going up 52%.

Gold has long been viewed as a safe haven against uncertain stock markets and rising inflation but the fund is categorised as "higher risk" and performance can be volatile
