Chris has spent his City career in the bond markets, market making and proprietary trading and has been a member of the STA (Society of Technical Analysts) for more than 20 years. He started as a stock jobber on the Stock Exchange floor with Ackroyd and Smithers, led a team on the LIFFE floor, before becoming Head of Gilt Trading at Credit Lyonnais. Chris subsequently became Head Trader at IBJ (Industrial Bank of Japan) for European Government Bonds, he then went on to run the UK trading arm of Helaba. Chris then headed up a proprietary trading desk at Moscow Narodny Bank before joining Charteris.
